HPX 500. My lens option

I'll be shooting my first featured in March. I'll be using Panasonic HPX500. That would be my first time. Im pretty much learn the HVX and know it at the back of my hand.

But with the HPX, what should I use to get the shallow depth of field. Zeiss Digiprimes? Ive read that the digiprimes does not give that shallow depth of field compared to using them with an adapter like the P+S Technik Pro35.

I want to achieve a soft look for the film, and far most importantly there are a lot of night scenes.

For some day scenes, I will have crane shots involve. What lens option can u suggest for easy focus pull.

Here's the trailer I've shot with the HVX. Without any adapter.
The crane shots are also in this trailer. It will be re-shot with the HPX.

What we've use for the crane was the ABC Crane. A lightweight crane with a remote head.
