HPX-500 LCD Problem

So just recently when turning on my HPX the LCD doesn't come on. Not even a little bit. The viewfinder works fine, and the menu navigation info appears in the viewfinder, but I can't get the LCD to come on. There are no visible signs of damage. Is there a menu option that disables it that I'm not aware of?
 
Yup that fixed it, realized my mistake just a few minutes after posting, I knew about the switch, but for some reason it didn't occur to me. Seems like kind of a pointless feature since it doesn't turn off the viewfinder, and you can just as easily turn off the lcd by closing it.
 
Often my LCD is faced outwards (flat against camera) for ease of use. But when on battery, don't need that drain all the time, so just hit the switch. I like the option.
