HPX250: HPX 370 and HPX 250 color matching

Hello.

I recently picked up a few HPX 370s and one HPX 250. I'm wondering if I can use the same scene file settings in the 250 as the 370s and have them match up well? Also, I am looking for scene file settings that give an image with mildly higher contrast and deeper saturation to really give vibrant colors. But not overly so...I want to be able to grade in post.

If anyone who has these two cameras could give me some assistance, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks

They should be close but I don't know if they will be exact.

For more contrast use b.press gamma, for more color saturation crank up the chroma level.

Thanks for your prompt reply. If ayou or anyone else here has any tips and/or caveats relative to these cameras, I'd sure appreciate the input

It was my understanding that except for power, and a few ENG form factor features (audio - lens) on the 370, the two cams have identical guts. Shouldn't they be identical except for lens performance? Are there other feature or software differences that would make a difference?

OFF TOPIC: AVP, given that these two cams are pretty close except for the lenses, I'm curious if you have any judgements on the performance of each lens, or other cam issues, in similar shooting circumstances.

Thanks for the question.

When I get a bit of time, I will do a couple side by side comps and post the results. We recently bought out an entire television station and all their physical assets so we have a ton of gear to sort through. Among this is 3 hpx 370s and one hpx 250 along with a list too long to mention. Quite a situation to have too much gear and not enough time to play. Normally I handle this one piece at a time.

Best, Jeff
