HPX 301 on a Jimmy Jib ... result!

We needed a controllable lens camera for our Robin Hood shoot (shooting a promo tie-in for the big feature) - for the Jimmy Jib; this puts our usual 171 and 200 out of the running.

So we purchased a HPX301 at a great price (instead of hiring a bigger camera etc.)

I was a little bit nervous about the skew as throwing the camera about HH on telephoto is like being inside a jelly. However none of us actually film like that in practice.

Just to say the 301 was great, sweeping shots, diving shots and zooms - not an ounce of skew! We also shot with RED One and we've made them cut together pretty well.

Hope this helps someone!

we too used 300 extensively for one of our corp shoot ... The 90% of the film was shot using EZfx Jibs :) loved the way it runs around on that JIB.

Great!

Was initially worried about skew and lens fitment but it they were none-issues in the end.
