HPX-170 rec start/stop indication

Hello,
I am using an HPX-170 in a remote mounted situation (RC helicopter). I am using the AV out RCA terminal (composite video) to a video transmitter, allowing a live view from the ground of the cameras' view. Am using a wired remote configured to start/stop the cameras recording remotly.
Problem is , with the push button start stop of the record function, there is no indication over the remote video link that the camera is actually recording or not, or has stopped recording on command.
Is there a way to get the camera to overlay a "recording" text on the video output, or is there some other way I should be hooking up the remote video to the camera.....

Video Out OSD >
On

Check and see if you are getting the On Screen Display over the composite video output.
 
Bingo. Thanks grimrebes. All the info that is on the camera LCD is now overlaid on the composite out signal.
