NEW PRICE: $2700 plus shipping
I bought this camera about a year ago and its been 100% reliable. It works exactly the same as it did on the day I unboxed it. It has 111 hours on the clock and its been kept in my camera bag every time it wasn't in my hands or on my tripod.
The only signs of wear on the whole camera are some rubbing marks around the tripod screw.
The camera was intended to be sold in Canada but I bought it as an open box item from B&H in New York. I have all the documents to prove this as well as the original receipt. Because I rarely used the camera at all, I never registered for the extended warranty and I would be happy to register whoever buys it as the rightful warranty holder.
The HPX is about a pound lighter and has a wider lens and a more light sensitive image sensor than the HVX200. I've shot with both cameras and the improvement in image quality and ergonomics is noticeable.
It comes with the original accessories box and includes:
-Battery
-Charger
-Component video cable
-Remote
-Ferrite Cores
-BNC to Composite plugs
-Manual
-Drivers on CD-ROM
-Lens hood, lens cap and eye cup.
You'll notice the shoulder strap is not included in the pictures because I couldn't find it. I'm sure it's around here somewhere, I just need to look harder.
I'm also including a 16gb R-Series P2 card and a 250GB firestore drive, cradle and mini ball head for mounting. The firestore has a broken firewire port on the record side. It functions for playback but does not capture video. Focus quoted me the $295 flat fee for repairing it, but it's basically yours for free with the purchase of the camera.
Camera is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the online sale at any time due to local sale.
