HPX 170 commercial with lot's of grading and postproduction

Well done. Can you describe the process of that from start to finish? That's an epic commercial, especially knowing it was shot on the 170.

Very nice. I love the ABC's, what a backdrop. Great edit, grade, etc. You have a real unique style in your work.. I like it.

this what I did : I shot most of the footage on 60p, 250 to 500 shutter time.
I did some more slowmo with twixtor.
I replaced almost all the sky's with other footage and photos that I have.
The grading and post was done mainly with tiffen dfx and genarts sapphire.
The shot of the ocean was done with tsunami and mixed with some sky footage.
I cut up a lot of the shots in pieces....so I could grade the sky, the ground etc.... differently.
Two of the most used plugs are : Boris continuum selective color correction and unsharp mask ( for a deep contrast ).
And of course a lot of masking!

Cool! Best visibility water I've ever seen (shooting UW stills).
Did you leave the Netherlands for the Netherlands Antilles? (nice move!)

I'm not a fan of the tsunami shot... kinda stood out from the rest...

Everything else was quite tasty...

Cheers

I think all of it looked awesome.....minus one composition.....the shot at 00:31 just didn't look real. It stuck out as digital to me. The rest were great I just feel like that jumped out at me and distracted me.

Was this a spec spot? If not, I would buy whatever you were selling because it all fit very well and the post was great!

Cheers

Ed

nice work! love the colour grading, which scene file specs were you using? gamma etc?

Thanks for sharing

Very nice! What kind of budget did you have? How many days of shooting and editing... I hope it's alright to ask. I watched it several times and ...wow!
