HPX-170/300 output to timecode slate?

I searched but could not find an answer to this, sorry if this has been answered somewhere: Can one output TC from an HPX-170 to a timecode slate? And can you do it shooting 24PN??? I know the HXP does not output 24PN over FW. Finally, if you can't do it with an HXP-170, can you do it with the HXP-300?

Maybe the over-arching question is: How do you sync HXP-170s and 300s???

With HPX-170 you can sync a free run TC through Firewire between two cams. I have no idea about a slate.
 
No, the HPX170 can't do it. The HMC150 could because it has linear timecode output.

Yes the HPX300 has timecode in/out.
