HPX 170 1080i 24p interlaced to progressive

How do I get the progressive look in final cut pro if I shot in 1080i 24p?

If I shoot in 1080i 24pA will in automatically transfer into FCP as progressive?

Take the 24p into cinema tools and reverse telecine it to native 24p.

24pa will take out the frames automatically on import.

If you want to edit as 24p, which you should do if you have 24p material, then shoot 24pA.

Once you remove the pulldown, yes. (STANDARD NOTE: DEINTERLACING IS NOT THE SAME THING.)
