Not sure if I spelt the website correct however I was looking at them as a possible place to purchase the HMC150 when I'm able to due to it being in stock there. Their price is 3,195$ when you add to cart which seems good, however it's weird they have it in stock and places like B&H don't, I was wondering if anyones ordered form them and how their experience was?

i just get hmc150 from them today (amazon) $3195. What was amazing about it is time . I order it on 3/4/09 - standard ups shipping - and today 3/6/09 igot it !!! I ordered other stuff as well but i was suprised that htc150 got to me that quick - sorry for my english - Peter

I placed my order through Willoughbys (same $3195.00 price) Thursday evening and requested the Free Super Saver shipping.
Friday morning, I started to get the worries, are they legitimate, how long will the "Free Shipping" take, etc. So, I called them, I asked if I could "upgrade" my shipping choice to ensure that I received it in a reasonable time. He said "Sure let me check", then he asked where it was being shipped to, and after I told him he told me that it was in stock, was shipping today (Friday) and I would have it on Monday without spending any money to upgrade my shipping choice. I told him that I had never ordered from them before and I had been a B&H customer for several years, to which he said, "We'd love to earn more of your business."

An hour later I had an e-mail with a tracking number, and the UPS website says it is at the local terminal for Monday delivery.

WOW, I can hardly WAIT!

Willoughby’s – they may try to cheat you.

I had a fairly dismal experience with them. I got the camera alright, but the accessories part sucked.

IIRC, the camera cost me 3400, but I've heard people talking about the camera going for about 3200 - 3300. The individual HMC150's were listed as being out of stock, so I went with the Advanced Shooter's package instead.

I paid 720 in accessories - totaling the price at $4119.99. but there was false advertising on the website (ambiguity in identifying some of the accessories, but some could be identified with images shown in the product page), and High-Pressure sales tactics over the phone. I wasn't as well prepared as I should have been, because I had a vacation on my mind which I was worried I wouldn't have a video camera to take on. The high-pressure sales tactics also attributed to me not asking about the accessories. Fortunately I only purchased one upgrade to my package.

I made a review/story today that's 2571 words long (14,654 characters long), but seeing as this is my VERY FIRST post here, and seeing as I can't find a place here that's specifically for merchant reviews, I'm a bit averse as to posting that story here. It is my goal to prevent at least one person from buying from Willoughby's, because that would cost them more money than they currently owe me for ripping me off. Just one person... I bet I could do a lot better than that :). There aren't many websites that take my full review, though. Most of them have character limits. Amazon has taken my review in full (put a review for the Advanced Shooter's package), but it's still being processed as of this time.

Sorry to hear about that experience. If Amazon accepts your review then you can probably post your first few paragraphs and then a link to your full review at Amazon on all of the other sites which have character limits.

Nice review - sorry to hear about your troubles. It sounds to me like you handled it really well (ie, not waiting until September, standing up, making demands).

B&H is pretty widely accepted as an industry leader and for reasons like yours I always like to buy from them when I can afford it. I know they're backordered a lot (it looks like they might be in stock now). It turns out they had a great deal on the HMC150 - I actually got the camera for less than the $3400 MSRP. I really got lucky this time, B&H actually have raised their prices in the last few months.
