How well does HVX project?

We shot a two-hour feature, "The Hayfield," on three HVX cameras. We just finished five months of editing. We projected some of the movie in a test at a Carmike Cinema outside of Nashville TN. We projected using a Christie 2K digital projector and the results were very impressive. We shot the entire movie in 720P at 24 frames. You will not be disappointed with the images shot by the HVX when digitally projected on a high quality digital projector.

the Dp probably had a hard time explaining that to the Producers ETC, and just told a little white lie.....

Oh, I'm certainly not prepared to imply that anyone's lying in any way. I just want to see an example of what it is that they're referring to. Either it's a misunderstanding, or repeating of misinformation, or there's something happening that I just haven't encountered yet. So I'd like to get to the bottom of it if at all possible.

From where I stand, 1080p is always better than 720p on the HVX. The camera is a native 1080p camera, other modes are downrezzed from the 1080p signal.
