How was this effect created?

anyone saw the effect at 00:31 when the guy sitting down comes off the wall and steps on the ground. its a similar effect but more subtle. def a post effect .

I hadn't noticed that before. This one makes me think they shot into one of those mirrors that mount above the isles in grocery stores. You would have the camera on a tripod while moving the mirror.

It's hard to tell of course so I could be wrong.

This is not difficult at all, there are many ways to do it in post but the easiest way would be to use optics compensation in AE.

Are you sure that's a post effect? If so, how was that done? This one is still baffling me!

Can anyone tell me what kind of lens they used was? Any guesses?

from what i can see they did it all in post, and with a warped effect maybe??
i use this lens quite often and if he where to slighty move the camera up anymore than it was the sky would have came out from behind that apt building. the lens he used on it is a mkii or aka mk2 made by century optics.
best fisheye lens on the market.

they clearly just stop moving, notice the hands shaking is not in sync. One stops, and then the other.
