How to use Zebra on tan and dark skin

I have a quick question about Zebra setting

My Zebra setting is set to 70%

when I am shooting caucasian the zebra patten would appear on the highlight of the face is that correct?

Also how should I set Iris for Tan or really dark skin with Zebra set to 70%

You're on the right track bro.

My marker percentage for dark skin is usually around 40-50%

Highlights around 60%
 
Are there any good links that describes what the zebra mode does, and how to use it? Im not realy sure what the 70 percent means and all this stuff. I dont understand it out of the manual
 
Zebras have to do with helping you guage your exposure.

Anything above 100% is overexposed.

If you have your zebras set at 100% and zebras are coming on, then that area of the frame is over exposed.

That's all there is too it. Set your zebras at the number you want, and use them to help you gauge your exposure.
