How to use your Guns N' Roses CD in your film

[bikefilms]

Guys,

As you may know, I produce a lot of videos and always get permission to use musicians in my work. But here's an interesting find:

I recently found a "leaked" trailer on YouTube for a mountain bike film I worked on. The teaser used Paradise City by Guns N' Roses, a song that hadn't been cleared for copyright. But instead of being muted by YouTube or taken down by authorities, the video plays with an advertisement for GNR.

Awesome.

So, make a film with Guns N' Roses. Have someone in another country upload it to YouTube. Help promote the musicians as your film grows in popularity.

I hope this is a sign of things to come.

That's been going on for a while, but I don't know how they get there. It could be through tags. The few music videos that don't get taken down tend to have those pop up.
