Lately my graphics department has been complaining about the footage I've been giving them, they say there is to much motion blur or, that their machines work better with 29fps. I like to shoot 24fps because I like the look better then 29, of course I change to 29 for stylistic reasons every now and then but generally I shoot at 23.976. We were talking today and we were both curious what everyone else is doing? we work in the adobe world and I shoot on a 5D and a C300 mrk II. we do a lot of tracking adding words and such to the video for commercials.
I told them I could shoot with a narrow shutter and bump up my fps to 50 or 60, but I don't really want to. I would prefer to shoot at 24 and 180 degree shutter (unless I felt I should change it for emotional reasons)
so again what is everyone else doing when it comes to a shoot that has a lot of graphics?
