How to set Scene detection ON

Hi,
I just had to send my dVX to the doctor..then "she" came backand after capturing my reel i found out my NLE now gets a 1hour clip instead of many as usal before..is there something I should set properly now on the dvx Menù?

No. Scene detection is a function of your capture software.

I see..so why another dvx that i usually rent does not have the same problem and the capture/logging procedure is ok? doubts..

The only thing that may affect scene detection would be the internal clock in the camera. It should work fine from default, but try resetting that? Other than that, there isn't anything you can do from the camera. It's a software thing.

How many times have you tried to capture where you got that result, and what are you using TO capture?

You're sure that "Enable DV scene detection" is checked in the VidCap Preferences?
