How to secure the EX1 to a rig better?

I always feel that my one screw to the rig is asking for trouble in the future. Below is what I have:

Any suggestion on how to secure it better is much appreciated.

You won't be disappointed! I have no fear tightening the EFF out of my tripod/mount plates to the bottom of that thing, and on top of that it's 100% solidly attached to the camera body. no weakness or movement whatsoever.

Okay, I finally got the JuiceDesign's base plate for the EX1. However, I still need something else to better secure it. Right now there is only screw.

I guess what I need is a riser with multiple threaded holes that match the JouiceDesigns' EX1 base plate thread holes and also multiple threaded holes on the bottom to be secured to the shoulder mount or anything. Does anyone know of something like this out there?

So does anyone have a suggestion? I need a riser type base plate that has multiple threaded holes. Any recommendation is much appreciated.

Thanks for buying one of my base plates. On the part you are attaching to the camera in the picture, is it possible to drill a second hole so you can take advantage of one of the other holes I put in the base plates that I make?

I don't know. I'll have to check. What drill bit type should I be looking at so that it's able to drill a hole?

Just a standard drill bit for metal. I would measure the distance between the threaded holes that you want to use on my base plate then make sure the new hole you are drilling on the other part matches that distance. Using a center punch before drilling is a good idea so the drill bit doesn't drift when you start drilling. If you aren't comfortable doing it you could always find a local machine shop that could probably do it for you for a few bucks.

Okay, I finally have the time to look at it. The problem I see is that it already have a bunch of holes already. But the holes do not line up with the holes in the JuiceDesign's base plate. So, my next question is, is there some other riser similar to what I got that will have the holes line up or that has no holes so I can drill it myself?

Or this one. I just this part. Most of the part I found eBay or other web store, it came with the whole rail system and I don't need them. I just need this small part.

By the way, will this one work with the JD base place?

Sorry for the late reply. It looks like those risers would work since they use a standard 1/4" bolt that would bolt to the camera or my Juice Designs base plate. The last one with the long slot would be good because you could get one or two more 1/4" bolts to secure it to the extra holes in the base plate. Or drilling yours would work also.
