How to "save" a broken ML raw span (5D3 exampel)

Heya...

I had a couple of raw spans I hadn't figured out how to extract. RawMagic wouldn't handle them for some reason.
So I went googling and found a lenghty explanations, but thankfully a guy had commented that he had found another way of handling a broken span of raw files.

This is a quote of his explanation and a qoute of mine after having used his idea to deal with a span of 3 files.

There is a Solution 3. I have this file "clip1.RAW" but I loose the "clip1.R00" so I take one " .R00 " file from another clip, duplicate it and change the name of it to "clip1.R00". Then a put the two clips "clip1.RAW and clip1.R00" in to the rawmagic. The program will recognize the two clips as one and convert it to DNGs. The result is that you have the "clip1.RAW" converted to DNGs and when the raw magic jumps to the second clip "clip1.R00" the result will be wrong but you don´t care because you have what you want from "clip1.RAW" Sorry for my poor english. I hope I make myself understood.

Reply to AlfonsoTHANK YOU!! This worked like a charm... I had to spans that wasn't extracting but I desperately needed them.
I'll add, that if your span is more than 2 files, you have to "repair" the broken span with as many functional spans. Fx:
Clip001.raw
Clip001.r00
Clip001.r01

are a broken span but you have a functional span that is called
Clip005.raw
Clip005.r00
Clip005.r01

You duplicate Clip005.r00 and Clip005.r01 and rename them to Clip001.r00 and Clip001.r01 respectively.
You will lose r00 and r01 data in the repair file, but hopefully the ".raw" file will have enough info for you to save the day.

I know it saved my day and will spare me reshooting a troublesome car shot.
