Hello,
i'm trying to remove some annoying effect i got in a few shots where i get pulsating bright areas. it is shot in a forest and caves and the bits of sky which are visible through the branches 'pulsate' (it's like detail changes up and down each frame). it's actually the whole detail of the background area which pulsates. this effect happens also on premiere when i edit, not just on tv.
i posted the sample in vcd resolution (it's visible even with that) at
http://www.baluardoproductions.com/pulse.mpg
it was shot in default PAL 'cine' setting (i think with thin detail). also, it looks like depends on the focusing distance since i have one shot with the character coming towards the camera and when he's far the problem doesn't exist and when he gets close the sky starts pulsating. camera was on a tripod, exposure locked, 'auto' focus.
i tried blur, antialias, broadcast colors, and a lot of other filters. nothing.
i wouldnt say the shots are unusable, but not too nice looking for a technical eye.
suggestions?
would have that be different shooting with 'thick' detail?
thanks everybody!
Andrea
