How to play back normally with out that grainy look.

Hi all.

I rented an EX1 for th weekend. My computer is not feeling too good to capture anything right now, but for starters all i want to do is play the memory cards back from the camera and record the footage on my dvd recorder. but when i play it looks grainy and somewhat slow, it does not look smooth like a consumer camera does. is there anyway to fix this and just get a normal video output going so i can record?

If your playing from the EX out the composite into a DVD recorder in what sounds like a frame rate not native to the DVD recorder, I recommend you get the software and fix your PC. The EX is HD camera, and I can't think of a worse way to grab footage than the above method.

Plug the EX into a USB port, export the clips in your preferred format, and that's it.
