How to Output Display Info to Monitor

Can the DVX200 output a HDMI signal that includes the display info?

I am using an external monitor and I would like to see the display information (framerate, ISO, shutter, IRIS, timecode, etc.) on the external monitor. This seems like a basic functionality, but I have searched the menu system for this option to no avail.

Please let me know if anyone has solved this riddle.

Try this in the menu:

Display Setup --> Video Out OSD --> ON

But unfortunately it looks like you can't do it in 4K or 10-bit.

Darn it. I always record in UHD or 4K.

Thanks for sharing that. Unfortunately it only reinforces my low impression of the DVX200.

I got the DVX200 thinking that it would complement my GH5 but it has been a disappointment in that regard. The scene files and color profiles don't match. It can't do 4:2:2 10-bit internal. And now this display info output limitation.

I wish Panasonic would make a new model that included all the tech from GH5 and GH5s. A man can dream...

I hear you...2015 was a really different time though, FWIW.

If Panasonic stays in the camera business, I think a DVX200 II would be a much better camcorder, even only because of the major consumer expectations these days.
