How to migrate Final Cut plugins from old g5 to mac pro ?

I have a Powermc g5 - working very well

but with intel only apps now becoming the norm i have to go to a new Mac Pro

looking forward to the luxury of superfast rendering

I have quite a few plug ins that i use regularly:

(here is a list of great plug ins for any action sports / promo video editor)

Magic Bullet Looks
Twixtor
Primatte Keyer Pro
Idustrial revolution volumetrix

I realise that i cant migrate pro apps to the new machine - a clean install is required. so how do i get my beloved plug ins across? (I have been chasing down serial nos all morning in case it all goes wrong!)
 
Email the makers of each plugin with your serial numbers- you'll probably have to pay to upgrade some of them. Others will be a free upgrade.

install disks? i didnt even know plug ins came on these - every plug in i have purchased has been downloadable with some online cc payment taking place.

Noah - thanks for the advice - i have my serials all sorted

- well most of them - some plug in makers make it very hard to find your OWN serial number in the application (making it very time consuming to track down a product serial no i have already paid for - and time is money)-

while other have them front and centre on the plug in info button.

Also, all of my downloaded plugins came with an installer or with instructions about the system folder into which they should be copied. They also often had some sort of authorization/registration scheme, so you may need more than just the serial number. You may have to deauthorize some plugins on your G5 before you will be able to install them on your new machine. I think your best bet is to locate your original download and any accompanying emails or, failing that, to contact whoever you bought them from. My experience is the same as Noah's--plugin makers are more than willing to be helpful to folks who have purchased their plugins.

I did a quick check of each of those plug ins using the new fangled thing the internet.

Seriously, downloads are available from all the vendors. Just supply your serial number.
