It seems to me that Panasonic has totally stopped supporting P2 cards, else why does P2CMS only function on an ancient 32bit XP operating system??
My old XP laptop with the useful P2 card reader slot is slow-as. Not wanting to muck-around with dual-boot on my work machine, I have P2CMS installed on the laptop. How else to manage files?? Is there any other way? I have tried talking to Panasonic but they just send me a "customer feedback form" to which they never respond in any case.
I seem to recall Barry saying he doesn't use P2CMS anymore. Then what? (Assuming other priorities than buying additional Panasonic hardware.)
How hard can it be for Panasonic to provide owners of P2 equipment, having spent big on P2 cards in the first place, with software that a current operating system is capable of reading. Panasonic continues to be either negligent, disdainful or completely ignorant of non-huge customers needs. I love working with DVCPro HD but after 18 months of waiting for a P2CMS upgrade it's evident it just ain't gonna happen.
