How to log and transfer from a DSLR camera?

How do you set a DSLR camera on final cut pro in order to log and capture recorded footages from it?

Basically, just plug in your CF/SD card into your card reader. Launch FCP and go to Log and transfer.

Sweet! But perhaps a different product name would be something to consider. When I hear EPIC I think RED's incredibly well-known, sometime to come camera. And I know this is not a camera but still it's a bit confusing as it's in the same industry. Might be something they may even press you about changing from a trademark perspective- so unless you're married to that name could be a good call to swap it for something else. Just my $.02...
