how to integrate HE mode and HA mode in one project?

I have some footage shot in 60i HE mode. Not realizing the resolution different at the time, now I'm confused as to how to integrate HE mode footage (1440x1280) with HA mode footage (1920x1080). Any pointers?

It's 1440x1080 (not 1280).

Shouldn't make a difference. It still resizes to 16x9. Basically it's treated as 1920x1080.

Oh according to Panasonic documentation, it's 1280 hight

If it's 1080 then it's 1.3 ratio.. 16x9 is 1.78 ratio. What the heck?

That's a typo. It's 1440x1080.

Thanks Barry, so it's not the same ratio as the footage shot in the other modes.. so to integrate, we basically have to resize up and pan&crop?

What editor are you using? You should be able to just plop 'em both down on a 1920x1080 timeline, and the NLE will take care of the pixel-aspect-ratio difference and convert it automatically to 1920x1080. That's the way it works in Vegas, Premiere Pro, and EDIUS, at least...
