How to get Focus Ass. on control screen?

Is there any way to get not only the screen informations via remote control (OSD) on a control screen, but also the focus assistant?

One way of course would be to open the evf or lvd with a screwdriver to get their video signla including focus assistant.... but I'd like to avoid this if possible

Not as built, no. You'd have to modify the camera somehow, like what you're talking about.

If you use DV Rack HD, you can get way more magnification than "focus assist" too, if that helps.

for the field perhaps a small notebook with DV Rack HD could really be a very good option as a control monitor. I'll check the Demoversion.... Seems to be a nice tool to save a lot of time with corrections in post.
