How to get firmware update AF-100 if only have battery power?

I am having a difficult time trying to update my AF100. The camera came with a battery charger with a DC port, but with no DC cord so it can be plugged in. I ordered a DC Cord on the Panasonic site, but it is on backorder. As you know, you can't update while running on battery power. How are all of you updating? Any work-arounds? Do these battery packs that you can buy work for updating? Thanks for your time!

Or HMC150? And I'm assuming the AC130 or AC160 use the same cords as well (since they use the same batteries).

Yes, any AVCCAM camera (except the AC90) could use its charger/cord to power the AF100...

Yes I have one connection I can try to borrow from, thanks. If there is any other product you are using that seems to work for updating firmware please let me know. Curious about that Swit Electronics battery with DC out works, or if the camera detects that it is a battery.
