GH4 How to get Canon-like skin tones?

I've been trying to figure this out for a while but I can't get the formula right in Photoshop.

I'm taking portrait stills and I want to get the gorgeous color skin tones that Canon's cameras produce.

Is there any Photoshop action or method I can use in post to do so?

Buy a Canon. Not being facetious.

Or, shift hue ~+2 or adjust WB a bit towards magenta/amber... but it still won't be exactly the same.

Aside from what mcbob said (I agree, again without being facetious)....

If you have a Canon camera that you like, take side by side shots with the same lens (I have an EF - M43 Speedbooster, so that helps!) in RAW for both, using a color chart and grey card in frame as well as a person, then use ACR to adjust the image of the GH4 to match that of your Canon. Once you have an image that matches, save the profile in ACR as a preset, then apply it to future photos taken with the GH4. You should then have a starting baseline with which to further develop your RAW stills in a way that matches Canon's skin tones.

I did this for video actually and I can say that the GH4 has perfectly fine skin tones when calibrated :)

HTH!

Cheers from Berlin,

Paul :)
