LOVE THIS FORUM, Thanks everybody so much. We are a group of 4 videographers that shoot lots of depositions. We have been using the trusty Panasonic AG DVC -30. for years.
I purchased a HMC 40 a year ago but have not used it for depositions because I have not been that happy with the quality of the video output from the composite output. It looks as bit soft to me but I can probably use it anyways. Maybe u guys know a better way to get a better composite output.
I know there are HDMI input to SVHS / composite output encoder black boxes for $60 on Amazon........would that give me a better composite output ??
We need to back the camera with a live feed to a Panasonic DV Recorder with large internal Hard DRive.
I know the component output looks better than the composite, but we need to record to a Panasonic DVR with only composite inputs. Thanks for your thoughts
