how to film through hvx200 eyepiece with sunglasses on

does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this? my work requires me to be outside and film at the drop of a hat therefore i don't have time to take my sunglasses off and filming with the lcd open just doesn't cut for me. :thumbdown

get a baseball cap. and squint.

why doesnt filming with the lcd open "cut for you"?
id suggest using the lcd and get a sun hood for it.

i film surfing on beaches where it is 100 degrees all day long and staring at water without polarized gasses on is ridiculously hard on the eyes. i have found it much more efficient throughout the years (for me) to use an eye piece for tracking fast moving subjects. the hvx is the first camera i have owned where i can't film through the eye piece with sunglasses on. that said i am quickly finding out some of the foremost authorities on the hvx are from the same town as i am so maybe it would be easier just to take them to lunch at sweet and savory one day for a little tutorial AND buy their dvd or book :)

maybe a loosely woven net over your cam and head.... it cant be that hard. people have been filming surfing from the beach for decades...

You can do it...but not with polarized spectacles. Hey...!... get a 77mm polarizer lose the polarized shades and you're golden!
