how to expose a7s - wolfcrow's method

Very in depth tutorial that confirms a lot of things about the a7s. In a very strange way, slog2 has amazing range for outdoor footage, but is terrible for low light. Picture profiles now come into play.
 
I don't understand though. He says not to use LUTs, but the colour space needs to be converted before grading??
 
That was a super boring tutorial when in the end its just over expose by +2-3 stops which i have been doing.

weird to just claim overexposing by 2-3 stops as his system

I haven't watched it yet (not the whole thing at least), but I've to say I find most of his articles quite inconclusive.
Don't get me wrong, I for sure don't have the knowledge to fully understand all the stuff he writes/talks about, but therefore I suppose the way he explain things is not clear unless you've already a certain degree of knowledge.
