How to dump footage back into the HVX?

Hi everyone,

I want to take my finished project from Final Cut Pro and dump it into the HVX for playback so I can show it to my class on a Hi Def TV in HD?

Is there any way to do this on the mac?

Canopus is supposed to be able to do this? Anybody in the Concord CA area able to do this?

You can do it out from FW on FCP. All you need to do it set the camera to the correct record settings go to the P2 viewer of the camera, hit the dub button and the viewfinder should turn blue. If you got everything hooked up right you should be able to look up external devices for playback and see a DVCPro HD (Whatever your res). Select that and you should see the footage off the sequence you want to playback in your camera's viewfinder. Set the sequence to the head and hit the record button by the playback buttons on the camera and then start your sequence. That should do it. Just remember that if your doing 720p 24N your camera record settings need to be 720p 60p or 720p 24p.
