How to drain an HVX battery (to fully charge it)

I have a shoot tomorrow, and I want to have as much possible battery as I can get. I've always heard that the trick to getting the most of any battery is to drain it, then re-charge it. But what is the best way to drain my HVX battery? It's about half full. Should I just leave it on with the LCD until it drains?
 
I have tried that but didn't really notice much of a difference. It might have more of an effect if your batteries are old with a lot of use on them.
 
Really? Ok cool, so whenever I need to charge it, and it's not fully charged, I can just charge it and it'll be fully charged?
 
You may also want to check out the Dolgin Engineering TC400 quad charger with the torture test option module. It will completely drain your battery, charge it all the way up and then show you a read out of your batteries condition. Just the charger alone is worth it's money in gold.
