So what do I need to provide a live FB feed with this camera? The venue is a university, so I assume the internet speed will be okay. I have not done this before, and I know there could be pitfalls. I seem to recall something about venue providing an ethernet connection, so there are questions I need to ask.....and so on...

Venue needs to supply the internet connection and the juice. They will probably charge a fee for each. You also need a hook-up to their sound booth, but I always have a wireless mic on the podium, plus a shotgun on the camera getting ambience. If I am feeling very fancy I will use my DR701D for sound with scratch running into the camera on one channel, plus the internal mic on another. Depends on the situation, of course. I can wireless lav up to at least 4 people and scratch helps syncing immensely.
When I live-streamed a local ISD's graduation ceremonies to YouTube, I went SDI-out of the camera to a Blackmagic UltraStudio Mini Recorder, went Thunderbolt out to my iMac running Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) Studio, which then fed the school's YouTube account. I'm sure Facebook would operate the same way: just give them a feed. I also rolled on the event and later uploaded a clean FHD version of the video, with the bumpers trimmed off, to their YT.

OBS Studio is free.
HDMI out from the DVX200 in to the Intensity Shuttle, HDMI out to the Mac, then OBS to Facebook. Should work. Do some tests first.

I've been trying to get his to work via the Intensity Shuttle and OBS but it's not working. I can't get the signal to register with OBS. Does anyohe have any suggestions? Thanks
