I use my laptop to see what is going on only using DV Rack. The problem is: the automatic backup recording make smy slow har drive crash. Every time I am connected via Firewire and I push Record (P2), my Dv Rack crashes. Is there any way to disable automatic backup recording on the HVX 200? I use a teleprompter that hides the LCD from the front, so I need to see the image on the laptop but can not do the recording. Any ideas? I tried every option but Dv Rack will start recording as soon as I push Record on the HVX.
