how to deliver hd footage for tv commercials to statioins

i am not sure how to do this ... could someone give me some pointers im coming from using a canon GL-2 i have the log and transfer thing down how to get fcp to transcode them and such... but how would one deliver hd to a tv station.... is it possible to output it to a regular dv tape on gl-2 and still be hd quality... please help i want to start doing some commercials in hd and deliver it in hd... so they can be as clean as possible...
 
How does the network want you to deliver HD and in what format? Ask them those questions and youll have a start point. So to answer, it depends on which network and which workflow they are using.

And no you cant print back to a tape in a gl2 and keep HD.
