Hello all,

I want to shoot without the letter box option on my DVX100 camera, but I want to put in the letter box in post. I am wondering how to create the standard letter box using tape over the view finder and or monitor. What size is the standard letter box you see in movies? And how would I size that to fit the view finder, and monitor?

Thanks for your help...

Someone else on the boards had the idea of figuring out where you want your letter box to be on your favorite NLE program first, exporting it to dv, play it back on your dvx lcd and tape where the letterboxing stops.
