How to create 24p without hiccups

Hey guys, when I import the footage into FCP from my GH1, do I import it at HQ 422 ProRes 1920x1080 60i and then export it at HQ 422 ProRes 1920x1080 24?

Thanks guys, I've checked out the workflow notes and still I'm having some problems with choppy footage. Thanks.
 
Log and transfer the footage to ProRes, then run it through one of the things listed in the sticky in the workflow section for removing pulldown. I prefer compressor.

Then move the new in and delete the old clips. Keep track of your scratch disks and your outputs and where your footage is.
