hi guys. I'm confuse on something.
I'm in college and we have a video lab with 15 avid computers. The thing is that I'm editing my video project over there but now I want to continue editing my project at home. So, I check my drive (because every student has a drive connected to a network, so it doesnt matter where I sit, I will always use the same drive) and I copy the only 3 folders on my external drive:
1 - OMFI folder
2 - A folder with the name of my project
3 - Unity Attic folder
I came home and copy those folders to my computer. I open Avid, load my sequence and as I suspect, all the footage and everything is offline. I check the Superbin and it says the media is in the drive "P" (which is the drive I have in my college)
I guess that my question is how can I make Avid detect the media files that is located in my computer drive (which is the "J")? I have never done this before, that's why I can't figure it out. I try Relink, consolidate, media tool, etc...but nothing seems to work.
thanks in advance.
