How To Clean LCD?

I have somehow managed to imprint a few smudges on my LCD. I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best method to clean this up without harming the display.

I bought 2 little things recently from a computer store. Both are for flat screen monitors or screens and works just fine on the flip out LCD screen. The one I use all the time is like a small cloth. I don't know the exact name for it right off hand. I use NO liquid with it. I just wipe the screen and the smudges comes right off. The other product I have is the the same thing but it DOES have a liquid solution you put on the screen. I am scared to use it even though it IS for Flat screen TV's and safe for all monitors. I am still not going to use it! LOL!

I've had very good results with a microfiber cloth. But these pick up all sorts of dirt so mine is used only for the LCD.
