How to be sure to outpur progressive stills?

As the Blade forum has been closed, I think this forum fits best.

I shoot in 24PA squeeze mode with my DVX100A and as stated above, I use Blade for editing. I would like to know how I can be sure to really output progressive image stills. I mean, for example, I don't want to send TGA files or whatever they accept to a transfer house wasting half of the resolution.
So in Blade as a test, I output the same still one time in DV Cinema editing setting, and the other time in DV NTSC setting. Both pictures looked absolutely the same, so either both are progressive or interlaced (with automatic deinterlacing applied naturally)

I did upload a still, maybe you can judge if its taken from the progressive information of the DVX100A or just deinterlaced:

-> 419 KB PNG, stretched to 853x480 pixels with the Blade export settings

I dont get the question. But progressive, ntsc dv should do fine.
Progressive should be your choice for stills, as there are no artifacts, combing etc.

and as for Blade, i heard they discontinued it. You should consider this for the future. You'll find a lot of vegas, final cut pro, avid users here.

Well: The DVX shoots progressive, but stores it as 60i. So I would like to know if only the odd or even lines are used with the other half of lines just interpolated, or if the still is made out of progressive, all 'real' information.

I'm not sure anymore, but I think the discontinuation of Blade was denied. Well, what ever, it's by far the most affordable solution compared to what you get for the money, and it works for me.
