GH2 How to achieve infinity focus on your c-mount lenses?

Just received one of my first c-mount lenses. A Computar 25mm 1.8. This thing is blowing me away, the images are just impossibly organic, I absolutely love the look. I knew beforehand that people were making some kind of modification to the adapter to achieve infinity focus. Anybody want to clue me in ? I currently have the Kipon c-m4/3 adapter.

0. check condition: aperture F4 or slower (as lens may be too soft for focus checking on wide open)
1. check focus is less than infinity (= same as macro) - then need
a) slimmer adapter (or grind current adapter, so lens fitted more inside , measure after each grinding step.)
b) very carefully grind the rear of the lens barrel (that at all not preferablle solution /IMHO/, but also possible)
2. If it focuses through infinity, all you need to to is make up some shims so that the lens sits further forward from the sensor (may measure thickness of neede shim by lens slow screwing off and checking distance with any micrometers /or other aceptable way/ in focus point)
