we use softimage xsi, and i think we still buy all our software from RFX....i actually was at RFX for the first time last year, they have a sweet office in hollywood.

WaveRiderXIX-like, 2million...i think i should have added that im probly slightly mildly obsessive....

The ring totally worked out..and it looks great on her finger..lol..posting that thread on here Mench was probably the weirdest thing I have ever done...lol...oh well it worked out and I will post a pic of us together..let me find a good one...It's been a year :P

BTW, worked with UPN on a new show called R U The Girl and it was pretty fun. We were using the DVX for casting..who woulda thunk. Oh yeah, and my friend Paul used his DVX for Star Search a couple years ago right when it came out. It was the first broadcast footage of the camera ever. I thought that was pretty sweet.

Damn, Kyle! You're such a stranger here, anymore. Most of today's regulars (Mino, BlueSpider, P.K., Pookie and several others) probably don't know you. But, us old-timers remember back last Summer when you were posting like 50 posts a day. :o :D

terry - lol...good times...i had mono back last summer thats why...I really couldn't do anything else....now i am engulfed in work so it's hard to have time to sit down and read through posts...right now i am doing that while taking breaks from editing and stuff ;D Terry how have you been man?!

21. Born in Alaska but unlike Exfilms, I'm still here. At least until I get the guts (and money) to move someplace warm. I work for an advertising agency here in fairbanks. Pays bills, but I would rather just be doing my own stuff and going freelance to build up a good portfolio, then moving to the states for larger projects. Thats the dream anyway.

Oh, and fellas I need more cowbell!

Over 40, married, two kids, ten wifes (depending on the original's mood). Never get to know what any of them wants... ;)

I do anything to get away from boredom - even browse DVXUser.com ;D.

I noticed quite a few people are computer programmers in their other lives - including me. I bet it has something to do with about the only thing one can do in a corporate environment that is remotely creative.

Except me. My job has been so boring for past year and half, that I am seriously thinking about quitting this cash cow.

OTOH - where else would I have to time to check the site every five minutes? Nah - I am staying. Gotta write the next Oscar script somewhere... ;)

Also, perform weddings as an ordained minister when needed.
(It is a great line to brides, "If something happens to your minister, I am ordained and could step in at any minute.")

Part-Time Wal-Mart Associate in the Photo-Lab.
Graduated from HS in Western North Carolina.
Went to community college for Criminal Justice.

The wife and I are moving to LA next spring once all the wedding obligations are fulfilled. My brother is moving there next month and will be looking for a place for us.

Documentary and Narrative filmmaker. Been back and forth between Africa and New York this past year. Just moved to Boston to be closer to my girlfriend. Almost four years in this relationship.

My DVX turned two on Monday. Wow. I didn't mean to order it on valentines day, that was an accident...or was it. ::)

Wow dude. So young and already traveling. Wish I could do that. Are you funded privately for your works or did you just save up alot?

I got very lucky with a contact there. The work was openly bidded locally there. The local production houses were terrible and my bid was less than half of the cheapest one there. That opened a door. I paid my own ticket there.

They were happy with my work and I returned there for three months. This time I was paid reasonably well. It was a great experience. Tiring work, three films in four months my first time there. And four projects my last trip there. I like to work fast.
