Yo!

There's so pretty f'in awesome work in the gallery.  Which gave me the conclusion that hardly anyone here is unemployed.  If not, my bad.  

Was curious to what everyone's background is and what you currently do.  

My name's Phil, 26.  Was a Senior Animator in the video game industry for awhile, then quit and took business & law classes for a year.  Now I do to post editing & DVD authoring in Burbank.  

DVX USER since Nov. 05!  
Got it because I want to make my own documentaries.

Other than that, i'm 25, married with a baby girl on her way in 3 weeks (yippee/yikes). For my day career, i'm a designer/motion graphics artist/editor/dp/audio post(er?)/interactive developer. By night i'm a rock star. On the side I do architectual concepting sketches and have a business importing high end european home theater equipment.

I fly, been flying for onwards of 20 years now.

Fell off a sound stage once, but I've grown to like the voices, they're quite soothing.
I'm old.
I don't know if I'm a virgin.
I had four gold teeth, but there was a hole in my pocket, so they're gone now.
I have a cat, if you pull his tail he lights up.

The voices say I've told you enough.

Alright, you guys caught me. I'm actually George Lucas, I just come on here to siphon all of your guys' ideas and use them as my own. I'm up right now crackin the whip on all my CGI artists. God, they cant get the right look on Jar Jar Binks! Oh, *Whispering* just for you guys, in this upcoming episode, he becomes a Jedi Master.

College (BS in animation/modeling/virtual design, minor in post- apps)

Run a production company with my best friend, doing basically any kind of contract work you can think of in our small Seattle-area community
music videos, weddings (only 1 so far, but it paid good, so we're open for more ;D), lots of skate/snowboarding vids, local projects, CGI, compositing, audio, finishing, mastering, and so on and so forth...

We also make a lot of stuff for fun...

I waste my time playing copious amounts of soccer, and I'm also trying to gain 50 lbs (hang in there fellas... we'll get there some day). :D

Here we go

Just turned 26
Married for 2.5 years, no kids
Currently in my final year for my BFA in Photography
Technically unemployed, living off lots of Grants/scholarships and my wifes income. Plus I do weddings and freelance photography on the side.
Am currently working on a short film for my degree
Currently working as the DP and editor for a documentary entitled "Depot", for Blue Aggot productions
Am addicted to DVXuser.com and sex.

Cool TC! I do most of the artwork for DW Anim theatrical and home video releases. I did most of the Shrek and Shrek 2 posters. My handywork on both DVD covers, and I just finished nearly 20 different posters for Madagascar. We didn't get to work on Shark Tale though. Not sure why.

I'm seeing green from all the Shrek stuff though. And I hear they're already writing Shrek 4 (yes 4, not 3, 4)

27. Work as a writers assistant on "malcolm in the middle" on fox. Learned a ton about writing, but been there too long. Trying to get my **** together.
