how much more area does the hpx170's lens cover then that of the hvx?

is it a significant amount? say i'm filming 2 feet away from a subject, how much more width do i get?

Versus an original HVX200, it's not insignificant, it's 3.9mm vs. 4.2mm, and a bigger chip too, so around 15% wider field of view.
