I guess we could actually discuss, what latitude means to us. Because (good) downscaling reduces noise because of filtering, I would suggest a latitude per resolution concept.
What do you think about dividing the specified SNR of 54db by 6db (= one stop) for calculating basic latitude?

Yes, 10 stops total range but I was interested if anybody had tested how many over and how many under. Like RED is supposed to have 3 over and 8 under. This info is very useful.
