Ok. This message board doesn't move much. I know there are users and or owners waiting for their cameras to arrive who are out there searching/reading. Stand up, say hi and be counted.

Sup.

D90 an D7000
Keeping the D90 for stills an Behind the scene footage.
So happy about manual controls and better video quality from the D7K.

Me also.. But It seems its not a wise decision that I traded my GH2 with Nikon D7000? My Nikon is best, beast, undefeated when taking Stills.. but I cant beat my first video that I did with my GH2?

i LOVE the look of Nikon footage, it's just they have not put to much into the video features and controls. Probably why there's not that many users out there. believe me when I say, if they worked on the video features and controls, audio inputs and such I would be shooting Nikon.

Own one. Love it. There are features that I wish it had like 720p 60fps mode and exposure change in liveview mode. But to me image always trumps the features. I had to go with the camera that produces the image I like.

I've got a D7000 too. However, I recently purchased a Panasonic AF100 for my main camera. The D7000 will be used mostly for stills and occasionally for video if the AF100 seems too big. I've yet to test how the two cameras might cut together, in which case the Nikon could serve as a B cam.

I have one, first foray into DSLR video, and satisfied so far. It also is truly amazing at it's primary purpose as a stills camera. Easier to use manual focus lenses then with the D300.

I have a D7000 and am loving it. I just did a shoot with the AF100 as A cam and the D7000 as B cam. The footage seemed to cut together just fine. I am not the editor so I will have to ask him what he did for grading.

I got my D7K before they were available as a body only. I dumped the kit lens and am using some of my good Nikon glass as well as a Tokina f/4 12~24. It's been fantastic so far. I have a Panasonic HMC40 that I use as an A cam and for recording audio. The D7K footage seems to cut together pretty nicely with the Panny. Here's an example ( the the D7K footage is the cu, lens was Nikon 70~200 2.8 VR I )
