How long to get rebate battery/card?

I'm still waiting and hoping I didn't screw up the rebate form...

It's been just over four weeks since I sent it in and I thought a couple of folks said they got in a couple of weeks.

Anyone else waiting?
Is there a way to check the status of a rebate?
 
I think with the initial onslaught of this cam coming out and most of us letting the test dummies do their thing first, now all of us are coming out of the woodwork to get an HMC. Add that to the fact that this rebate has surely boosted sales, and I think Panasonic is having trouble with supply and demand right now with the HMC's, batteries, and cards. I would be sorta "ok" for a while because I ordered 3 16gig cards and a large battery anyway, but I still hope I don't have to wait too long for the rebate to show because I would like to have at least two large batteries to cover a full day of shooting.

Yeah, me too! As stated..You can check Panny's web page and search rebate. I sent mine in the first week of February, it was processed on the 26th of February. There is a message that says 8-14 weeks after processing!
Maybe we'll get it for Christmas! LOLI'm sure once the "offer" ends it will speed up. They are probably having a helluva time just processing at this point.

Hmmmm...it didn't do either. It just came up with a page saying it was searching for me in my zip.
But it looks like there is a number to call.
 
Man i just hope i get my camera in time to send it off by April 14th (since it says before the 15th). Its back ordered at B&H Photo, but they said it should be shipped in the next couple days (I ordered on March 24th).
 
doh! i hope I'll get the battery before my first gig in May! Otherwise, anyone here nice enough (and looking to buy anyways) to buy a brand new / freshly shipped from Panasonic battery from me?
 
Figured I'd give you guys the update. I finally got my battery & card yesterday! No, not an April Fools joke! LOL

I sent the rebate out the first week in Feb. They entered my info on the 26th of Feb. And got them yesterday.

So, it's about 2 months. Good luck!

Mine arrived today after mailing the rebate on Feb 20 and having info logged on March 2. I was surprised by the size of the battery, especially compared to the dinky little block that came with the HMC.

Be patient, they're on the way.
 
I checked the rebate site and it doesn't look I will be getting mine by next Friday. So I guess I will have to buy another battery before then sigh..........

You know...In my zeal to get the product out of the box, I didn't noticed.

But my wife mentioned meeting the UPS guy...hmmmmmm! Hope she had a "headache" that day too! LOL
