How is the FS100 for weddings? can I match it with my 5D Mark II?

I am looking for a good match for my 5D Mark II. I do all events and I use a HMC40 as our B cam for weddings since it does not do too good in low light. I would need something that I can zoom in and focus and most of all have a pretty good match with my 5D Mark II. Please, any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had the intention of matching my 5dmkii to my fs100 and it required a lot of grading work. So, I got a Sony 5n as a b cam to my fs100 and it matches great. If you are looking to match the 5d, you are probably better off with a 7d or 60d.

I've shot with both 5D and 7D (both still and video) for a couple of years before getting a FS100. The "look" between 5D and FS100 is vastly different. FS100 resolves a lot more details than 5D and has somewhat of a flat (2 dimensional) look. If you tend to do more of creative grading than a straight out-of-the-camera look, I don't it matter what cameras you mix in -- no one would notice. I still have the 5D but only use it for shooting stills. It's a much more of a superior video camera.

Is this a joke? If licensing was required for songs played on Vimeo than 90% of the videos on there should be taken down.

No joke... I take it I can use one of your productions for promotion of myself?

On Topic:

I think there are some profiles that you can apply to both the 5D mk II and the FS100 and they'll match up relatively close in raw footage. Check out Abel Cine and maybe drop a line to "Postmaster" here on DVX. If there's anyone who knows his way around profiles it's Frank.

Here is the first (and last) wedding video I shot in my life (was for my brother in law - so I couldn't say no)

Shot on the FS100 mostly with a 35 Rokinon and some scenes with the kit lens.
I think it´s a great camera for weddings, but you need some experience.
