I've done a bit of complaining here about the GH2 (mainly trying to get decent color via the built in LCD and on my DP6). After a little bit of testing, and a lot of reading, I've come to the following conclusions and feel now it's time to just get out and shoot (I've been a bit scared up till this point).
1. Follow Kholi's suggestion of Standard -2,-2,-2,-2, with either lpowell's new hack, or AV2.
2. Follow the suggestions in this thread of ISO 320 & 640, and mind the bug.
3. Use the settings put forth in this thread for my DP6.
4. Follow the advice of qwerty123 from the above thread of trusting a solid white balance off my white card.
5. Using the false color features of the DP6 to ensure I've got proper IRE readings on my skin tones.
6. Run everything through 5dtoRGB using Kholi's nifty tutorial.
7. Denoise when I can afford to purchase a denoiser.
This post may seem a bit useless, but I'd like to collect a few final thoughts from people. I've spent so much time in the past two months just scared to actually use the GH2, worrying about colors being off, and about having to wait until I get to my edit bay to see if I got solid footage. I fully appreciate everyone that spends hours upon hours running tests.
